What is the Philippine law on credit card debt?
A coworker of mine is afraid to go back to the manila because he said he has a NBI record because of credit card debt. Apparently either the bank or collection agency filed charges (he owed like around over P 100,000). This was 5 years ago. So he assumes that once he goes home, he wont be able to leave again (makes sense if you have a police recod you get detained at the airport, right?).
How long will the record stay? Is there a statue of limitations before this case is removed? What charges have they filed?
LOL i only know that they have laws for the poor but none for the rich. ^_^
